In the Warehouse Game players will experience the challenges of running a distribution Center for a week in just 90 minutes. The main challenge in this simulation is to achieve the goals of reception and dispatch at the lowest possible cost.
The Warehouse Game has been created by Felipe Walker, David Klein, José Luis Muller y Francisco Cáceres.
GameLab Education is the sole owner of the game.
Groups of 3-5 players. Game length 60-120 minutes
During the game students will face the following concepts:
- Minimize cost and maximize value by meeting dispatch goals.
- Optimal flow and storage of goods.
- Optimal resource management.
Our games are web-based simulations, so Internet connection is a requirement. Warehouse Game is supported in Chrome and Firefox browsers. Minimum hardware requirements:
- 4 MB connection
- Dual Core processor, 1.6 GHz
- Memory: 3 GB RAM
- Graphic Card: 512 MB
During the use of the game our IT support team will monitor the performance of the server, so if any inconvenience occurs we will shortly give you an answer.
During the game students must:
Assign workers optimally to reduce costs and take advantage of resources, taking into account the changes in reception and dispatch schedules.
Avoid bottlenecks so that work flows in the distribution Center.
To maintain coordination between areas for optimal use of available resources.
